Vobcopy-0.5.7.tar.gz

The following files are sometimes still the old version, will be updated as soon as the maintainers make them.
A new source for deb packages was sent to me, many thanks to Kristine Daniels:

Alternatively there is still my own made vobcopy_0.5.7-1_i386.deb. This is my first deb file, so let me know if it is broken or something.
For sources.list entry: could someone point me to a howto or explain me how I make the relevant files? Thanks ;-)
(I have read the documentation from http://www.isotton.com/debian/docs/repository-howto/repository-howto.html but still I have some probs (understanding probs) - but I think I will understand eventually)
Packages made for Mandrake:
vobcopy-0.5.7-1plf.src.rpm source rpm package, should also work on other distros (I guess)
vobcopy-0.5.7-2plf.i586.rpm intel binary rpm package for mandrake 9.1 (for newer libdvdread version), dunno if this works on other distros.

Changelog: Steve O'Hara-Smith provided a patch to speed up copying. This can now be toggled with -F (fast). Also, a bug discovered by Leif Sandstede is fixed (32 spaces were used as the name of the dvd if the dvd itself has no name). Also, a string which was used to create the output dirs wasn't zero-terminated and therefore resulted in garbled names sometimes.
Older downloads are available from sourceforge who hosted the project till I moved to my server
